Emergency Shelter

While at Plumb Place, residents receive:

  • intensive case management
  • internet access for finding jobs and on-line schooling
  • assistance with resume building and filling out job applications
  • help with budgeting and other independent living skills as identified

Transitional Housing

Plumb Place Programs

ACCEPTANCE

  • MUST meet the definition of homeless as defined by HUD
  • MUST have approved documentation of homelessness prior to moving in
  • CANNOT have the resources to live independently
  • MUST meet Plumb Place intake criteria

EXPECTATIONS

  • MUST participate in her individual case plan; including meeting goals as outlined in the case plan and meeting with case managers as scheduled
  • MUST follow Plumb Place Participant Handbook and rules as written
  • MUST utilize the Resource Center as determined by staff
  • Maintain the confidentiality of ALL participants (pass and present) as well as Plumb Place staff

TERMINATION

  • Repeated no show and/or no reschedule with Case Manager or Resource Coordinator
  • Repeated failure to follow Participant Handbook
  • Behavior that jeopardizes the peace and safety of other participants/house
  • Non-compliance with program and/or lace of participation
